Ever since we completed the kitchen renovation before Christmas, I’ve been baking more and more! My new mixer is making it easier to make our favorite chocolate chip cookies. You’ll want to keep reading for the recipe and details below!
Another thing that makes life easier is Walmart+. We love the convenience of getting all of our grocery staples from Walmart. Walmart just launched a new benefit, Walmart +free shipping; no order minimum (excludes oversized/freight & Marketplace items), so you can get anything you need that you may not find at the local stores with next-day or two day shipping. We love the convenience and the same everyday low prices!
I ordered these items (and more) for our favorite cookies through Walmart+ using the free delivery from your store ($35 min, restrictions apply) benefit and I love that it’s delivered on my doorstep. So easy and saves me so much time! You can learn more about it here and see if this is something you and your family can benefit from too!
Here are the supplies you’ll need to make these delicious and addicting cookies! I’ve sourced everything here below for your convenience:
This recipe can make over 6 dozen cookies using the smaller scoop and about 3 dozen using the larger scoop. We’ve used both scoops and they are linked above.
This is the amount of cookies it makes when you use the smaller scoop… Cookies for days!
I want to thank my cousin, Angie @the.painted.piano for sharing this recipe!
It’s quickly become a family favorite! I think it’s the extra vanilla that makes them so good!
I don’t measure when I add the chocolate chips, but I’d say it’s close to 1.5 cups. I prefer to use Ghirardelli semi-sweet chips. I’ve tried other brands, but always go back to Ghirardelli.
TIP: I like to take my cookies out when they are still a bit doughy in the middle. They will finish cooking on the cookie sheet while they cool. This nice golden brown color is what you want to see! Baking times may vary, I baked mine for 9 minutes at 350 degrees.
Let me know in the comments below if you try this recipe!
TIP: You can substitute semi-sweet chocolate chips for Andes mint chips or add chopped pecans.
It’s seriously the best one I’ve tried; these cookies always go fast around here! Also, be sure to check out Walmart+ and all their benefits for a safer and easier shopping experience!
