Hi friends!
After years of unfinished projects, primed shiplap and commitment issues, I finally decided on a color for the guest room! I searched multiple sites for inspiration including Pinterest, my favorite blogs and IG accounts. In my opinion, it’s the best moody green wall color… Not too dark, just right! I knew I would love it, so I bought a gallon of paint, knowing it would be used somewhere else in our home. After all, I was considering an accent wall in the breakfast nook to help break up the neutrals from the recent kitchen updates. Painting the breakfast nook was an easier task than shiplap, so I started there. I finished in less than a day and just as I hoped, I fell in love with the color!

We recently added this gorgeous Roman shade from Select Blinds and now it just pops against this green wall! We chose Weathered Birch with a soft fold feature and privacy lining. It was a no tools installation that took less than 10 minutes to install. I have a 4-minute installation video on my Instagram account @ourvintagenest under IGTV. It also came with a remote control, a feature we’ve never tried and has spoiled us all!
Here’s a quick one minute video on the process!

Okay, on to the guest bathroom for more views of this gorgeous color!
For years, this bathroom has functioned beautifully with primed white shiplap. We’ve had countless guests stay here and it never bothered me (nor did they know) that it wasn’t finished. It wasn’t until recently that I developed a deep love for moody accent walls. I knew this bathroom and the breakfast nook were the perfect candidates! The challenge came when deciding a color.

A warm, deep moody green was always on my radar and Farrow & Ball has the prettiest choices!
