Hey friends! If you’ve been patiently waiting for the details of our neutral living room furniture, today’s your lucky day! We absolutely love the transformation our living room has made with these beautiful couches from England Furniture! They arrived right before Christmas; just in time for entertaining our family for the holidays! We had a packed house with 13 people and there was enough seating for everyone… The first time that has happened in our home! We went from having a 6.5 foot dark leather couch that provided minimal seating, to seating up to 6-8 people comfortably with a couch and loveseat!
With high vaulted ceilings in the living room, we desired to create a space that would make this room feel cozy. My vision was to add a love seat in front of the three windows, to fill that side of the room, creating an L-shape and making it feel more closed in. I like to think of it as hugging the room!
I love having this beautiful table in the corner… Not only does it add warmth and texture, but provides a place for drinks and accommodates two people instead of one.
Before I get too far into sharing photos, I’d like to discuss the design details and why we chose this style.
This buying guide was so helpful… It shares so many styles and options! Perfect for the visual decorator!
Our England Furniture is called the Rosalie… We love it for its tufted rolled arms, detachable cushions (back and seat) and beautiful legs.
Aren’t the details beautiful? It has such a classic look, with just the right curves! Now let’s talk about the fabric… First let me say, we requested ours to be scotch guarded and I’m so glad we did! We have had a few accidents in the last two months and they have come up with ease! The fabric is incredibly soft and the color is similar to the sectional we have in our upstairs media room. The name of the fabric is called Benavento Linen… Y’all it’s the prettiest color with a slight tweed to it.
As far as pillows go, the couch comes with four and the love seat comes with two. Currently, they are styled with other pillows, not provided by England Furniture. I will say though, they have a fabulous selection of fabrics for your throw pillows! They are a generous size (22×22) with a piped trim and sewn closure. You may remember pictures from Christmas of the black buffalo check pillows… I selected that fabric for four of the pillows and the other two were a beautiful houndstooth. As you probably know, I love to mix and match my pillows on the weekly, so I didn’t worry with having them all match.
This right here is my favorite spot, on the love seat, next to the table, where I sit my coffee and do my morning IG scroll! :) Such a cozy place to curl up at night and watch my favorite shows!
Here are a few more views of the back side and other angles in the living room, just to give you an idea of how it’s laid out.
Our coffee table is also new and let me just say… After 10 years, it feels good to have one again! It’s from Hammary and is the perfect shade of brown/gray; tying in beautifully with our rug and dry stack stone around the fireplace. For those of you wondering about cabinet and wall color, check out this blog here!
Here’s a better picture, showing the cross pattern and hardware detail. It has a planked top with two pull out drawers in the front to store remotes and magazines.

WOW! I love your style! I have followed your blog and also follow you on IG. I just went back to this post and spotted those (3) framed prints you have on the wall. I call them botanicals, not sure if that is right. Anyway I just bought one at a darling home decor store here in Houston. Would you mind sharing where you bought yours? I think I need two more ;-)
Thank you! I have those prints sourced on my Liketoknow.it page on my IG account. Send me a DM there and I’ll send you a link!

What a gorgeous room! I love your neutral palette and am especially coveting your rug. I’m guessing it’s not available anymore, as I’ve checked your various pages and can’t find information on it, just a similar rug on your liketoknow.it page. Can I ask where you purchased it? And does it have a blue background, because it looks more beige in the photos. Thanks!
Hi Kimberley… Yes, you’re right, it’s discontinued from Pottery Barn. The background is a light gray blue with taupes and creams. Hope that helps!
Wheee is your rug from? I found your beautiful living room on Pinterest!
Hi Meghan… Glad you found me! The rug in my living room is 8 years old from Pottery Barn and no longer available.
I just found your blog and I’m loving it! Trying to style my farmhouse home now! Where did you get the End table in between the sofa and love seat?
Hi Sarah! Glad you found me! The end table in between the couch and love seat is sourced on my liketoknow.it page and through my IG @ourvintagenest.
It may be on backorder at the moment. Please contact me on IG for further details, thanks!
